Let me tell you a story.
I went to Vietnam last week for a trip, I was pretty excited to go because it was my 1st time to be there. I finally get to try my 1st bowl of Pho, my 1st authentic Banh Mi experience, visiting the Ben Tranh market, visit the Landmark 81 building…
I was pumped!
There were also some get togethers required to be in, so eating out is a must.
And this is where it all went wrong.
If you don’t know already, I am also using the pandemic to reach my body goals by cutting before gaining for muscle mass.
During the pandemic, it was so easy to follow a set amount of meals to the calorie because everyone was locked up & we didn’t have any outside get togethers to hamper my plans.
When I was there, all thoughts of eyeing my eating habits flew off. It’s my 1st time there, & I wanted to try EVERYTHING. I ate a lot… and the worst offender, there was beer.
Now there’s nothing wrong with enjoying yourself every once in a while, but this resulted in me gaining 5 kg in weight (I was 54.1 kg before). Basically what took me 6 mos. to lose last year.
Don’t worry though, I can loose this in a few weeks, but if I was a bit more mindful, it wouldn’t have went out of control like this.
What does this have to do with marketing your business online?
Simple. You need to measure everything. If you don’t have a plan to reach your goal, it remains as a dream or an aspiration.
What gets measured gets improved, as they say.
And what’s the best way to measure your performance online? Using a FREE tool straight from Google: Google Analytics.
Next week, stay tuned as I will write a complete guide as to how to use Google Analytics to grow your business
